A deep impression

Supplanted to grow
Disrupted, distracted
From the sense to know
 
The space between
Lucid and reality
Grasped or granted
I pray to see
 
Dream on
The mind’s edge
Dream on
The heart’s ledge
 
Answers in the dark
Grasping at just one
The waking world
Steals the solution
 
Recollection unseen
The answer is gone
Resolution distant
Broken by a yawn
