Mountains of Madness - POEM of the MONTH!

Mountains Of Madness

I see mountains to the north
Beneath its neighboring star
In the light of the full moon
Jagged fingers reach for her
As if to navigate the chaos
On a stage of madness
Freak Alley, Boise, ID - Revelation 19:16

I see laughter turn sad
And honor take a sidestep
One betrays the whole
With lies on the doorstep
As common sense
Is lost to foolishness

I see mountains move
While others stand still
Foundations bear its weight
As others slide downhill
I see mountains of ice
And hearts frozen twice

I see mountains scarred
By the storms of time
Erupting with angry faces
From the denial of crime
As common consequence
Is replaced by tolerance

I see mountains of apathy
And diamonds in little hands
As they cling to innocence
While angels turn to demons
I see mountains of hate
As we fall to our fate

I see mountains to the south
Blinded by a deceitful mist
In every possible direction
Among towers to the east
And giants to the west
Until the imminent fire
Higher and higher

(Move this mountain)
