Mystic Sea - a short story

Mystic Sea (Fiction 101 Series)

And I thought we were on an ocean when I awoke to the drifting beat. But it was the pulse of the engine that rotated in order to propel us into the oblivion of space. Out of the nearest portal was a sea of turquoise stretched across the cosmos as far as the eye could see. Although my eye had been sold to buy passage to the nearest hospitable world – a world where salt had become folklore. And that is the reason I cry from the one eye left that can still see the hope that is stretched across my imagination.
